Katakana is the second of the two Japanese syllabic alphabets. It is primarily used to write foreign loanwords, names of countries and people, onomatopoeia, and technical terms. Like hiragana, it has 46 base characters plus voiced dakuten variants.
This chart covers all katakana columns with romaji pronunciation. Select any column to add it to your study queue, then test yourself in Study mode. You can mix hiragana and katakana columns in the same session.
